International Friendship Soap *Floral Flame*

I was invited by Emily Shieh of Shieh Design Studio to participate in this 9-soapmaker soap swap project, such an honor! Those 9 soap artisans are from the world. Some are from Ireland, some are from Spain, some are from USA and some are from Canada.

Celine of Soaperstar videoed the name picking for our soap swap. I'm making soap for Rose of Li Ban Ireland. Rose likes sweet almond oil, not too much coconut oil, super moisturizing, hard bar, milk, clay and well blended aroma, so I blended eo of sweet orange, lavender and patchouli, hopefully Rose will like it.

This is my first time to video soap making. It took me days to figure out how to video it, convert it, edit it, upload it to YouTube... not easy at all. I am glad I finally made it, yeah! Here we go! Enjoy the video. =)

PS. Cutting soap video is coming soon.

  1. Anita, it is BEAUTIFUL. Would you be able to help me? I have the videos made but can't seem to upload them to YouTube... takes too long. I have edited them in WMV. The first one for example is about 9 minutes long and about 300mb. won't upload. What do I do!!!??? Thanks, Jen

    1. Hi Jen, thanks! =) About uploading video to YT, hm…you know, that’s my first time to do it so honestly, I am not sure which part went wrong…but, I noticed my WMV video is about 8min/180mb so perhaps the reason why caused long uploading video may be because you chose “the best quality” to convert to?

    1. Hi Claudia, thanks! You always made my day, my friend. It was almost midnight when I videoed it, so maybe you can tell I was kind of “rush” to do the swirl, ha ha ha Happy you liked and enjoyed it. =)
